The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has officially announced a lecture-free day for all part-time students on November 1 and 2, 2024. This decision comes in anticipation of the upcoming Nasarawa State Local Government Elections scheduled for November 2, 2024.

In a circular signed by the University Registrar, Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, the university emphasized the importance of suspending lectures to ensure the safety of students and to encourage them to fulfill their civic duties during the elections.

The circular also instructed the Director of the Centre for Continuing Studies to adjust all academic activities accordingly to accommodate this break.
