NSUK Faculty of Agriculture Clinches Top Honors at 2024 National Agricultural Show

The Faculty of Agriculture at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) emerged as a standout at the 2024 National Agricultural Show, clinching two prestigious awards. The Faculty secured 1st Position in the Colleges and Faculties of Agriculture in Nigerian Universities category and 1st Position for Fisheries Technology.

Professor S.A. Okunsebor, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, presented the awards to Professor Saadatu Hassan Liman, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, on Friday, November 29, 2024, in her office. The recognition reflects the Faculty's consistent dedication to excellence in agricultural education, research, and innovative contributions to the field.

The National Agricultural Show, held annually, took place from November 24–29, 2024, at the National Agricultural Show Ground, located at Kilometer 28 along Keffi-Abuja Way, Tudun Wada, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The event serves as a major platform for showcasing agricultural inventions, innovations, and advancements from stakeholders across the agriculture and agro-related industries in Nigeria.
