The Nasarawa State University Keffi has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Wasila Hassan, a final-year student of the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences.

The visit took place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, as part of the university’s formal expression of sympathy following the student’s untimely death.

Leading the delegation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Yahaya Mohammed, conveyed the university management’s deep sorrow over the loss, describing the deceased as a promising student whose academic journey was cut short.

He extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for divine forgiveness for the deceased, asking Allah to grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to give the family strength to bear the loss.

According to him, the entire university community mourns the passing of a diligent and committed student whose academic dedication was widely acknowledged within her department.
