A 300-level student of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Mustapha Osama, was reportedly killed during a foiled armed robbery attempt in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The incident occurred on Friday night around 8 p.m. along the Gudi-Akwanga road. Sources indicate that Osama was struck by a bullet fired by the gunmen. He was driving at the time of the attack.

Osama was buried in Doma on Saturday morning according to Islamic rites.

A family source confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased was driving when he was hit by the bullet.
