NSUK Vice-Chancellor Approves Key Appointments for NERD and State Statistics Bureau

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Fellow, UNESCO; ACLS (AHP); FIIPN; CBER, has approved the appointment of officers for the Nigerian Education Repository and DataBank (NERD). 

Dr. Aliyu Muhammad Nasir of the Department of Accounting has been appointed as the Focal Person for NERD. Also appointed are Barrister Ramatu Ahmed Liman of the Academic Division as Record Officer and Mrs. Hajara Danladi Yakubu of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as Digitisation Officer. 

According to the Registrar of the University, Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, the appointments are for a period of one (1) year, effective from November 2025. 

In a related development, the Vice-Chancellor has also approved the appointment of Mallam Tanimu A. M. Kabir as Desk Officer Nasarawa State Bureau of Statistics. The appointment is for a period of one (1) year, with effect from October 2025.
