LASU has done excellently well in digitalisation Equipped to train other Varsities -NUC Monitoring Team Gives LASU Five-Star Rating, Says University fit to train other Universities in Nigeria in digitalisation of their services.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) Monitoring Team on E-Learning has given a five-star rating to the automation drive of the University describing it as excellent. The 3-man team, led by Dr. Chinelo Nwosu, also passed the University fit to train other Universities in Nigeria in the digitalisation of their services. 

That was the report submitted to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji - Bello, mni, at the end of the one-day assessment visit to the University on the Open and Distant Learning and Research Institute (ODLRI) programme, which held on Tuesday, 28th March 2023.

On their arrival on the Campus, members of the team were received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, at her office where she assured them that the facilities of the ODLRI programme are in top shape. They then left to inspect the facilities under the guidance of the Coordinator of the programme, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Adenike Omotunde Boyo, the Director, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin and other officials of the programme. 

Upon the submission of their report later in the day, the Vice Chamcellor appreciated them for the good works and assured that other areas of improvement identified would be effected.
