On September 3, 2024, the NYSC Kwara State Orientation Camp hosted the 16th edition of the OCI Foundation’s Arm Our Youths (ArOY) Anti-Cancer Health Campaign. The campaign, which has been a staple in all 37 NYSC orientation camps across Nigeria since its inception with the 2022 Batch A Stream I NYSC cohort, aims to raise awareness about cancer prevention and health.

The ArOY Health Campaign is a collaborative initiative of the OCI Foundation International, in partnership with the NYSC, the Nigerian Cancer Society, the Nigerian First Ladies Against Cancer, the Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation, and other supporting organizations.

The campaign includes educational sessions, health screenings, and interactive activities designed to inform Corps members about cancer risks and preventive measures. The initiative underscores the importance of health awareness and early detection, providing valuable information to the Corps members as they embark on their service year.

The event featured various activities and resources aimed at empowering the Corps members with knowledge about cancer prevention and health maintenance. The campaign’s ongoing commitment to addressing cancer-related issues reflects a broader effort to enhance public health through proactive education and community engagement.
