Myschoolnews reports the vibrant atmosphere of the Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State, came alive with electrifying energy during the African Night event on Sunday. The captivating evening unfolded under the skilled hands of DJ Royal, who set the stage for an exhilarating experience. MC Lastborn skillfully engaged the enthusiastic crowd, maintaining a lively ambience throughout the event.

With an announcement by MC Lastborn, the male contenders stepped onto the stage, adorned in a variety of African attires. Their exuberant performances showcased their diverse talents, with Igbo ensembles predominantly taking the spotlight, although exceptions arose within platoons 8, 9, and 10. Following suit, the female participants graced the stage, exuding elegance in their African outfits and graceful dance routines.

 

The platoons transcended mere performance; they celebrated the richness and individuality of African culture, seamlessly blending skillful acts with cultural attire. The night witnessed a mesmerizing joint performance by couples, which stood out as a highlight.

At the end of the competition, Precious Olisa, representing Platoon 8 with state code LA/23B/8738, secured the third position. Lucy Dansofo from Platoon 2, with state code LA/23B/5472, claimed an impressive second place. The top honors for the female category went to Simon Glory Blessing, representative of Platoon 1 with state code OS/23B/3361.

 

Among the male contenders, Akinwale Praise from platoon 2, holding state code OS/23B/2812, earned the well-deserved third place. Platoon 9 representative Adebayo Ayomide Peter, with state code OS/23B/2859, showcased remarkable talent and secured the second place. Emerging triumphant in the male category was Chikeleze Chigozie from Platoon 8, bearing state code LA/23B/7648, who clinched victory in the enthralling African Night event.
