The NYSC Plateau State Coordinator, Mr. Yavala Jonathan, has issued a stern warning to Corps Members, advising them against participating in unauthorized online platforms and associating with bloggers not recognized by the NYSC management. He cautioned that any Corps Member found engaging in such activities would face appropriate sanctions.

Mr. Yavala emphasized that the welfare and well-being of Corps Members are of paramount importance to the Scheme. He urged them to avoid actions that could tarnish the image of the NYSC and jeopardize their service year. The State Coordinator made these remarks during a recent tour of major NYSC Corps lodges in Jos North and South, where he interacted with Corps Members to address issues affecting their welfare.

During the tour, Mr. Yavala assured Corps Members that the NYSC Director-General has been actively engaging with relevant authorities to ensure that Corps Members benefit from the implementation of the new national minimum wage. He also took the opportunity to listen to the challenges faced by Corps Members, promising to do his best to address the issues raised.

The visit included stops at key Corps lodges, such as the Jos South Corpers' Lodge, Muslim Corpers' Association of Nigeria (MCAN), Nigerian Christian Corpers' Fellowship (NCCF), and the National Association of Catholic Corps Members (NACC). The tour provided an avenue for Corps Members to engage directly with the State Coordinator and seek solutions to their concerns.
