OAU Undergraduate Murdered, Dismembered for Ritualistic Purposes in Ogun State

In a gruesome incident, Ogun State Police have apprehended two suspected ritualists, Akeem Usman and Ifadowo Niyi, accused of brutally killing a 100-level student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Quadri Salami, for alleged money rituals.
According to police spokesperson Omolala Odutola, the deceased's father reported his son's sudden disappearance on November 14, after Quadri Salami went missing on November 8. Despite efforts to locate him, the family's search proved futile.

Following police investigations, Akeem Usman was arrested with the deceased's phone. Subsequent interrogations led to the shocking discovery of Quadri Salami's remains buried in a shallow grave in Mile 6, Ajebo area of Abeokuta.
Akeem Usman reportedly implicated Ifadowo Niyi, revealing that they both committed the heinous crime by slaughtering Quadri Salami and dismembering vital body parts for ritual purposes. Ifadowo allegedly took Quadri's head and two wrists, paying N100,000 into Akeem Usman's account as proceeds from the sale of the human body parts.

The suspects admitted to using four other human heads for money rituals known as 'Osole.' Further revelations disclosed that they sold the victim's other body parts to internet fraudsters while burying the heart, two legs, and flesh inside a plastic rubber for rituals.
Both suspects are now in custody at Eleweran State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for ongoing investigations and will face prosecution. The shocking crime has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting authorities to ensure justice is served.
