Prospective candidates are required to possess five O’level credits at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. This foundational requirement ensures that students have the necessary academic background to excel in the program.
In addition, candidates seeking National Diploma (ND) admission must meet the minimum entry requirements set by recognized examination bodies. Those planning to sit for the 2024 UTME examination and have chosen SHIM, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, as their preferred institution are eligible to apply.
The selection process involves rigorous written and oral examinations to assess candidates' proficiency in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Paper. These assessments aim to identify individuals with the aptitude and potential to succeed in the field of health information management.

Interested applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 for ND applicants and N8,000.00 for HND applicants through REMITA payable to OAUTHC, Ile-Ife. Application forms can be obtained from the School of Health Information Management, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, and must be submitted by Tuesday, 27th August, 2024.
Following the submission of application forms, post-JAMB examinations and oral interviews will be conducted on Wednesday, 28th and Thursday, 29th August, 2024, respectively. These assessments serve to further evaluate candidates' suitability for the program and their potential to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare sector.
