Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Lagos, has announced a two-week postponement of the resumption date for all students. According to a statement signed by the acting Registrar, Dr. E. J. Akinwale, the decision was made to allow for the completion of online screening processes before physical resumption.

The statement highlighted that physical screening will commence on May 13, 2024, in batches, and students are required to print out their slips and appear on their scheduled dates as indicated. This measure aims to ensure a smooth and organized resumption process while adhering to safety protocols.

In light of the postponement, students and parents are urged to be vigilant against scammers and to follow instructions disseminated exclusively on the College's portal. Additionally, the management emphasized the importance of disregarding rumors circulating on social media platforms, particularly regarding fee increases.

Addressing concerns about fees, the College reassured students and parents that authorized fees will be announced solely through the college portal. This measure aims to provide clarity and prevent misinformation regarding financial matters.
