Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has officially announced the schedule for its Christmas and New Year break, following the 466th (Special) Meeting of Senate held on Wednesday, 10 December 2025.

According to the University, all academic activities will pause as the campus closes for the festive period on Friday, 19 December 2025. Lecturers have been instructed to conclude all lectures on or before Thursday, 18 December 2025, allowing students sufficient time to travel safely to their homes and destinations. The early closure aims to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth transition into the holiday period, reflecting the University’s commitment to student safety.
