Vice Chancellor Prof. Agboola, during a pre-convocation address, assured that certificates for recent graduates were processed and ready for collection. Ogunwomoju stated: “All graduates going for their NYSC have received their certificates. For the 2022/2023 set, we processed and signed 6,000 undergraduate and 1,000 postgraduate certificates. For 2023/2024, about 5,000 undergraduate and over 500 postgraduate certificates were distributed.”

The registrar noted that isolated cases mostly involve part-time students or those with name errors. Many of these students have outdated or incomplete records, which delays certificate issuance. However, for students without issues, certificates can be produced within a day or two.

The system processes around 250 transcript requests weekly. The university has also integrated manual results from 2000 to 2010 into their computerized system, further easing the process.

The registrar acknowledged challenges with part-time students, many of whom have incomplete records or were never officially registered. Efforts are ongoing to verify and update these records.
