The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim, in his introductory address, commended the Corps Members for their commendable completion of the vibrant and demanding Orientation Course. 

He praised their unwavering courage, enthusiasm, and determination displayed throughout the course, emphasizing their role as patriotic citizens poised to carry the nation's dreams and aspirations towards a brighter future's.

 

Myschoolnews gathered Agbor implored them to discharge their duties at their places of primary assignment with utmost sense of duty and be committed to the ethics of the organization they were posted to.

 

 "Avoid truancy and lateness at your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). Be a team player and a shining example by contributing your quota to the success of the organization you are posted to and to the community development service group that you will belong to hereafter."

 

Speaking on the SAED in-camp training, Agbor commended the Corps Members' active participation in the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development in-camp training and charged them to take the post camp training seriously. 

 

Agbor, also appealed for an upward review of Corps Members allowance by the State Government and Corps Employers in the State in view of the present economic crunch and hike in the cost of living in the country. He further appealed for more support in the areas of the expansion of the Orientation Camp's Multipurpose Hall to accommodate more Corps Members during orientation programmes and also for more donations of plastic chairs for use in the Camp.

 

Awards of recognition were also given to outstanding camp officials for their selfless service: the recipients include: Camp Commandant, Major John Itudo, Head of Red Cross, Mr Ojurongbe Olufemi, Inspector Odumosu Margaret - Police, Best Camp Official Okelola Oluwaseun (Junior category), Best Platoon Officer, Mrs Oladele Foluke, Best Camp Official, Mr Lawal Kehinde (senior category).
