The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has moved swiftly to address a trending comedy skit, clarifying that the characters depicted in the video are neither students nor products of the institution.

In a statement issued by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, it was emphasized that the comedy skit in question did not originate from the polytechnic. Mr. Oloyede elaborated that while the skit highlighted issues within the Nigerian secondary education system, particularly concerning unethical practices in examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and JAMB, the characters portrayed as newly matriculated students at OSPOLY are not affiliated with the institution in any way.
The Registrar underscored the commitment of OSPOLY to academic excellence and ethical conduct, noting that graduates of the institution excel in various fields across ministries, agencies, and corporate organizations both within Nigeria and internationally.
