During the 2nd combined convocation ceremony at OYSCATECH, the Governing Council Chairman and Executive Director for Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI), Prof. Lateef Sanni, emphasized the institution's potential to evolve into a university. Prof. Sanni highlighted the recent promotion of Chief Lecturers, which increased their number to 31, as a testament to OYSCATECH's capacity for growth.
Speaking to the newly promoted Chief Lecturers, Prof. Sanni urged them to leverage their elevated status to enhance research activities at OYSCATECH, further elevating its academic profile.
In line with this vision, the Rector of OYSCATECH, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi, announced plans to launch degree programs in collaboration with prominent universities such as Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, and Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB).
