Over 74,000 candidates sit for 2023 external NECO SSCE
NECO says about 74,819 candidates are currently participating in the 2023 SSCEexternal examination

The National Examination Council (NECO) says about 74,819 candidates are currently participating in the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) external examination which started on November 20 and will end on December 20.
Datntani Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar of NECO, spoke while monitoring the ongoing 2023 SSCE for external candidates at Government Science Secondary School Gombe, Gombe State.

He said he is satisfied with the conduct of the candidates at the centre.
The registrar said reports received from the various centres across the country indicated that the examination is going smoothly.
Wushishi urged candidates to shun examination malpractice, noting that various measures have been put in place to check the menace.

The candidates are to sit for the examination in 29 different subjects.
NECO’s internal SSCE for 2023 was conducted from July 10 to August 11, 2023.
