The Commissioner of the Petroleum and Solid Minerals Marketers Taskforce in Niger State, along with his team, made an official visit to Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, today. Led by the Commissioner himself, the delegation held a strategic meeting with the university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Aliyu Paiko, to discuss collaborative efforts in combating illegal mining activities on the university’s premises.

During the meeting, the Commissioner expressed enthusiasm for the potential partnership, emphasizing the importance of creating a secure environment for students and staff. The discussions focused on exploring ways the Taskforce and the university could jointly address the challenges posed by unauthorized mining within the campus vicinity.
