PMSHC Donates Advanced Medical Lab Facilities to Augustine University
The new equipment will aid in accurate blood count analysis, liver and kidney function tests, full lipid profiles, and detailed scans, enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
The Pontifical Missionary Society of Holy Childhood (PMSHC) in Rome has donated advanced medical laboratory facilities to Augustine University (AUI), significantly enhancing the institution's healthcare capabilities.
The donation, including a Hematology Analyzer, a Semi-Automated Chemistry Analyzer, and an Ultrasound Machine, was unveiled by Vice-Chancellor Professor Christopher Odetunde on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the University Clinic.
Professor Odetunde expressed gratitude to PMSHC, highlighting the donation's impact on healthcare services and academic programs. "This will improve our medical laboratory's capacity, offering comprehensive healthcare services and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment," he said.

Also present at the event were Registrar Mrs. Margaret Aziba, Director of Operations Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Emmanuel Ogundele, Principal Nursing Officer Rev. Sr. Rose Bambe, along with other staff and students.
