National Open University of Nigeria Announces 14th Convocation Ceremony

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has announced its 14th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to take place on April 11-12, 2025.
The ceremony will be held both on-site and off-site, with specific arrangements for graduands from different study centers.
The on-site ceremony will take place at the university's Convocation Arena in Jabi, Abuja, and will feature a convocation lecture by renowned Nigerian economist and President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. The lecture, titled "Advancing Africa's Positioning within Global Development and Geopolitical Dynamics," will take place on April 11 at 11:00 am .
Only first-class graduands, first-degree graduands in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and award winners, among others, are required to attend the on-site ceremony. Meanwhile, first-degree graduands from other study centers will hold their ceremonies at their respective state capital study centers .
The convocation ceremony will commence at 10:00 am on April 12, where graduands will be awarded their degrees. The university has urged graduands to arrive early and be seated before 9:00 am .
