Polish Ambassador to Nigeria Visits Federal University Lokoja, Discusses Bilateral Ties and Academic Collaborations

 Her Excellency, Amb. Joanna Tarnawska, the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, visited Federal University Lokoja (FUL) to deliver the 6th Distinguished Public Lecture of the University.

The Ambassador was received by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, represented by the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, led other Principal Officers and Management staff of FUL to welcome the Ambassador to the Kogi State Government House in Lokoja. The Governor was joined by top government functionaries, including the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SSG), Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade (Ph.D), and the State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara.

Discussions focused on deepening bilateral ties through mutual collaborations, fostering growth, innovation, academic development, and economic transformation in Kogi State and Nigeria. This visit follows the Vice-Chancellor's earlier meeting with the Ambassador in February to discuss institutional partnerships with notable Polish universities.
