President Tinubu Appoints Governing Council for Ogoni Varsity

President Bola Tinubu has appointed the governing council and principal officers of the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Saakpenwa, Ogoni, Rivers State.

The university is set to admit its first cohort of students in September 2025, following President Tinubu's signing of the bill establishing the institution into law earlier in the year.

The appointments include a pro-chancellor and chairman, vice-chancellor, and other council members representing different regions. The principal officers appointed include a registrar, bursar, and librarian .
