Prof. Gwarzo attends wedding Fatiha of MAAUN staff, Dr. Aliyu
The Founder and Chairman Governing Council of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, on Friday, attended the wedding Fatiha of Dr. Aliyu Haruna’s daughter, Zulaihat and her heartthrob, Dr. Shamsu Danlami.

The wedding which was solemnized at the MAAUN Central Mosque, was contracted by the Chief Imam of the Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hassan in the presence of Prof. Gwarzo, who served as the Waliyi (father of the brides).
Among the personalities and Management staff of MAAUN that attended the wedding Fatiha include the President of MAAUN Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, Vice President Administration, MAAUN Niger, Dr. Shuaibu Tanko and Director, Linkages and Collaboration, Dr. Bala Muhammad Tukur.
Also in attendance were the Vice President Campus Life, Dr. Hamza Garba, Vice Chancellor Franco-British International University Kaduna, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo, Secretary General, Association of Africa Private Universities ( AAPU), Prof. Abubakar Sadiq Haruna, Director, Founder’s Office, Dr. Aliyu Mirnga, among others.
The event, which was also attended by other well wishers from within and outside Kano, witnessed a large turnout of members of the University community.
