Prof. Innocent Ujah Suspended as FUHSO VC

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), has suspended Professor Innocent Ujah from his position as Vice-Chancellor. The decision was made during a Council meeting held today in Otukpo, Benue State. The Council also announced the appointment of Professor Ediga Agbo as the Acting Vice-Chancellor, effective immediately.

Prof. Ujah, whose tenure was scheduled to end in November, has been barred from entering the university premises, according to reports from the meeting. The reasons behind the suspension have not yet been disclosed, and further details are expected to emerge in the coming days.

This leadership change comes at a critical time for the university as it prepares for its Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening exercise and other academic activities.
