Professor Folorunsho Medinah Salman has been named the Acting Vice Chancellor of the newly established Kwara State University of Education. This significant achievement marks a milestone as she becomes the first female professor from the Ilorin Emirate.

Professor Salman, who is also the wife of former Senator that represented Kwara Central from 1999 to 2003, has garnered respect and admiration throughout her academic career. Her appointment was made official by His Excellency Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, who expressed confidence in her leadership abilities and vision for the university.
