Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State, has alerted the public to individuals allegedly using certain telephone numbers and bank account details to impersonate members of the University's staff.

Augustine University Issues Fraud Alert Over Impersonation of University Staff

Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State, has alerted the public to individuals allegedly using certain telephone numbers and bank account details to impersonate members of the University's staff.

The University identified the following phone numbers as being used by suspected impersonators:

  • 09020748028
  • 09160472428
  • 08108301937
  • 08132728112

The University also identified the following names and associated bank account details as part of the impersonation alert:

  • Dr. Williams Felicia/Dr. Mrs. Rose – Polaris Bank
  • Chibuike Victor Obioma – Sterling Bank
  • Bursary Admin – Globus Bank PLC
  • Dr. Odibo Senebu Eneyi – Union Bank PLC

The University warned that the identified numbers and account details are not affiliated with Augustine University.

It stated that any communication, admission offer or payment request originating from the identified lines or accounts should be treated as fraudulent.

Augustine University further stated that it will not be held responsible for transactions conducted or personal data shared with individuals impersonating its staff.
