In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing Nigeria's soaring unemployment rates among its youth population, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has successfully trained over 1,000 young Nigerians in digital skills, focusing on areas such as data analysis and cybersecurity.

The initiative, known as the "Continent 3 Digital Transformation Drive," was launched in commemoration of Pastor Enoch Adeboye's 82nd birthday. Under the theme "A World of Unlimited Possibilities," the program signals a transformative step towards leveraging digital literacy to empower Nigerian youth and mitigate the challenges of poverty and unemployment.

The initiative attracted significant interest, with over 12,000 applicants vying for a spot in the program. Following rigorous online assessments, over 5,000 candidates progressed to the next stage, ultimately culminating in the selection of 1,000 participants for a comprehensive seven-day boot camp.

The boot camp, valued at over N400 million, was designed to equip participants aged 15 to 45 with the requisite digital skills demanded by the evolving job market. According to Oluwagbemileke Adeboye, Personal Assistant and Son of the General Overseer, the financial commitment of the church, "We hope that within nine months, participants will establish their own businesses, contributing to the economy and helping to alleviate poverty across Nigeria."
