In a testament to resilience and determination, 63-year-old grandmother of 33, Robyn Roberts, has graduated from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in the United States with a diploma in Business Administration, setting her sights on becoming a lawyer.

Robyn, also a great-grandmother of 12, undertook this academic endeavor after her grandson challenged her during high school, saying, “I’ll do it if you do it.” What began as a friendly competition evolved into a grade point contest, which Robyn ultimately won.

Expressing her joy and sense of accomplishment, Robyn shared, “I have finished something I started that is absolutely amazing, and I feel amazing.” Alongside her husband, she manages a trucking business specializing in transporting hazardous materials and government equipment.

Robyn conveyed her gratitude to Southern New Hampshire University for accommodating her unique circumstances, allowing her to balance her studies with the demands of running a business. Remarkably, she completed 90% of her studies while on the road, often working on assignments in rest areas.

“I did 90% of my studies from inside my semi-truck,” Robyn remarked. Looking ahead, as she approaches the age of 64, Robyn has ambitious plans to attend law school and hopes to provide support to survivors of abuse. She envisions turning 64 into a year of new beginnings, with the goal of becoming a lawyer by the age of 67.

Even on the day of her graduation, Robyn continued to multitask, delivering items across New York and Arkansas. Her story serves as an inspiring example of determination, lifelong learning, and the pursuit of dreams, regardless of age.
