Kalere Edgecombe, a brilliant and ambitious individual, has set a groundbreaking record by obtaining two bachelor's degrees before the age of 23 and subsequently achieving her doctorate at the young age of 25.

Kalere's educational journey commenced at the University of Bahamas in Nassau, where she earned her first bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Notably, she completed high school at the age of 15 and graduated from the University of Bahamas at 19, winning the award for the Most Outstanding student of her graduating class.

Undeterred by the remarkable achievement, Kalere pursued her second bachelor’s degree at the University of West Indies, Jamaica, where she graduated with a degree in Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS) at the age of 23. Sharing her joy on Facebook, she reflected on a decade-long journey from 2013 to 2023, expressing gratitude for the milestones achieved.

Continuing her academic pursuit, Kalere entered Medical School and, at the age of 25, was inducted into the medical field, earning the title of Dr. Kalere Khanja Edgecombe. Her story is a testament to resilience, determination, and a decade of unwavering commitment to education.
