Rt. Rev. Dr. N.N. Inyom, the Diocesan Bishop of the Cathedral of Anglican Dioceses of Makurdi, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving as a goodwill ambassador for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). During a courtesy visit to the NOUN Makurdi Study Centre, Benue State, Inyom praised the university’s Open and Distance Learning (ODL) model for its accessibility, flexibility, and affordability.

He expressed his admiration for NOUN's achievements as West Africa's largest ODL institution and pledged to advocate for its programs within his community. The visit, led by NOUN Makurdi Study Centre Director Dr. (Mrs.) Serah Alao and senior staff members, was aimed at strengthening ties between the university and the local community.
