KWASU Warns Against Fraudulent Admission Portal Post for 2024/2025 Session
Kwara State University alerts the public about a fraudulent social media post claiming the reopening of the 2024/2025 admission portal and newly approved programs.
The Management of Kwara State University (KWASU) has issued a public notice warning against a fraudulent social media post circulating online, which falsely claims that the institution has "reopened registration for the 2024/2025 academic session." The misleading post also lists newly approved programs that are allegedly open for admission applications.
KWASU clarified that this information did not originate from the university, and the post is fraudulent. The institution emphasized that only official communication through the Kwara State University portal should be trusted regarding academic and admission updates.
To fill the space created by the new programs, the university has already offered admissions to candidates who had previously applied and met the criteria for the new programs. Affected candidates have been officially contacted and informed to access their admission offers on the KWASU portal.
The Management urged the public to be cautious and avoid transacting with anyone outside the official Kwara State University portal. The university reiterated that it will not be held liable for any transactions made through unofficial channels.
For further updates on academic matters, members of the public are advised to stay informed through the official Myschoolnews platforms.
