Sa'adatu Rimi University of Education Receives Allocation for Increased Student Admission

The Sa'adatu Rimi University of Education, Kumbotso, has been allocated 2,000 slots by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for admission into the university for the 2024/2025 academic session. This represents an increase from the 1,740 students admitted last year.

According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Bunkure, the university has set a minimum cut-off mark of 145 for admission, higher than the national minimum of 140 set by JAMB. However, scoring 145 marks does not guarantee automatic admission, as the university will prioritize students with higher scores, especially in competitive subject areas.

The university has also invested N370 million in constructing new lecture halls, staff rooms, and other facilities to accommodate the increased student population.
