Sex for Grade: Minister Urges Lecturers to Report Students Asking for Sex in Schools

The Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has called on lecturers to promptly report any incidents where students attempt to exchange sexual favors for grades, in other to combat sexual misconduct in Nigerian Universities and Institutions.

"Some of our lazy students flaunt themselves to the lecturers, seeking sex in order to pass their examinations," Minister Kennedy-Ohanenye emphasized during her address, highlighting a troubling phenomenon that has long plagued academic institutions.
The initiative comes amidst growing concerns over the prevalence of such practices, which undermine the integrity of educational systems and perpetuate exploitation of vulnerable students.
