Sokoto Governor Promises To Offset Backlog of Salaries Owed Visiting Lecturers In State Owned University

Newly innaugurated Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has promised to offset the backlog of salaries the state government owes visiting lecturers in the state owned university.

Newly innaugurated Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has promised to offset the backlog of salaries the state government owes visiting lecturers in the state owned university.

Myschoolnews reports, the Governor made this promise while addressing the management of Sokoto State University who paid him a courtesy visit at the government house, led by its vice chancellor professor Bashir Garba.

 

The Governor said "My administration will always provide a conducive atmosphere for the school to continue to excel."

 

The Governor also promised to have a one-on-one discussion with the university's vice chancellor to discuss the best way forward as regards the salaries of visiting lecturers and sabbatical lecturers.
