The Presidency's denial on Thursday has sparked a flurry of reactions across the country, with Nigerians and staff seeking clarity on the true state of affairs.

While the government has debunked the claimed falsehood regarding the substantial increase in minimum wage, Nigerians are now questioning what the actual proposed minimum wage entails. One citizen remarked, "What is the true story then? Always debunking anything that will be beneficial to the common man."
Another individual highlighted the potential repercussions of a significant minimum wage hike, stating, "105k minimum wage will send shock into private employers. The response of that shock will spark another round of inflation."
Amidst the uncertainty, some Nigerians expressed doubt regarding the feasibility of implementing such a high minimum wage outside of federal institutions and major corporations. One citizen humorously remarked, "Wahala, I was wondering who wants to pay 105,000 Naira as minimum wage to anyone in Nigeria.
