Sule Lamido University Receives Accreditation Teams for Computer Science and Hausa Education Programs

Sule Lamido University recently hosted two accreditation teams from the National Universities Commission (NUC) as part of the ongoing accreditation exercise for various programs offered by the university.

 

The teams, comprising experts from Bayero University, Kano, Federal University Dutsinma, and National Open University, were on campus to assess the B. Sc. (Ed.) Computer Science and B.A. (Ed.) Hausa programs offered by the Faculty of Education.

During a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai, the team leaders, Professor Abdul Wahab Lawan and Professor Aminu Kazeem Ibrahim, expressed their commitment to adding value to the programs to enhance scholarship and research.

The accreditation exercise is aimed at ensuring that the university's programs meet the required standards and quality benchmarks set by the NUC. The outcome of the exercise will determine the programs' accreditation status.
