Summit University in Offa, Kwara State, has announced the commencement of its historic maiden combined convocation ceremony. Prof Abiodun Aibinu, the Vice-Chancellor, disclosed this during a virtual press interactive session, providing detailed information about the upcoming event.

On December 7, the maiden convocation lecture titled 'Revitalizing the Nigerian Economy: The Roles and Responsibilities of the Youth in the Digital Economy' will be delivered by Prof Babagana Umara, the Governor of Borno State. Renowned historian Prof Oluwatoyin Falola will give the keynote address.

The program also features the inauguration of the Central Mosque, donated by the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria Northern Council, and the Investiture of the university's Chancellor, Alhaji (Dr.) Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa, OFR. Additionally, the launching of Summit University, Offa N5bn Development Plan and the groundbreaking ceremony for the Senate Building are set to take place on December 8.
