Ajayi Crowther University Graduates 36 First-Class Students among 974

The upcoming 15th convocation ceremony of Ajayi Crowther University will see 974 undergraduate students graduate, with 36 achieving First Class honors, as announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Timothy Adebayo. Additionally, 594 postgraduate students will receive diplomas and Master's Degrees, while 30 others will be honored with Doctor of Philosophy Degrees.

In the breakdown of undergraduate degrees, 430 students will receive Second Class Honors (Upper), 408 in Second Class Honors (Lower), and 100 in the Third-Class category. In the postgraduate category, 71 students will be awarded postgraduate diplomas, 523 will receive Master’s Degree awards, and 30 individuals will be conferred with Doctor of Philosophy Degrees.

The Vice-Chancellor also announced the conferment of honorary degrees on Sir Gbolahan Olukayode Afolayan, Mrs. Kate Isa, and Mr. Taiwo Afolabi for their outstanding contributions in banking, administration, and entrepreneurship.

Prof. Adebayo expressed the university's commitment to further improvement and solicited support from individuals and institutions for sustainable funding and various development projects, including the establishment of the College of Medicine.
