Taroh Staff and Students Pledge Solidarity with FUE Pankshin Pioneer Vice-Chancellor
The Taroh staff and students, Federal University of Education, Pankshin paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Noel N. Wanang, who is the pioneer substantive Vice Chancellor of the university.
The visit was aimed at congratulating the Vice Chancellor on his appointment as well as to express their unwavering support and solidarity with his leadership as he champions the affairs and development of the University.
The delegation, through their spokes persons Prof. Philip Dangbin and Prof. Gwakzing Nimmyel, described the appointment of Prof. Noel Wanang as a historic milestone in the growth of the university which calls for dedication, commitment and hardwork from the entire University community.
They commended his visionary leadership and commitment to excellence, assuring him of their full cooperation and support in moving the University to greater heights.
In his response, Prof. Noel N. Wanang appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the Taroh Staff and Students, especially the cultural display that proceeded the courtesy visit. He encouraged continued unity, collaboration, and commitment among staff and students to ensure sustainable progress and academic advancement within the University.
Chairman of the Taroh Staff in FUE, Pankshin, Mr. Emmanuel Ramson, gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the delegation, reassuring the Vice Chancellor of members full support, loyalty, and readiness to work closely with the University management to achieve its vision and objectives. He appreciated the Taroh elders, serving and retired, for the legacies and standards they set which have been a guiding light to upcoming staff and students. He also appreciated the TAROSA branch of the University for being an association worthy of commendation as he used the opportunity to offer a verbal invitation to the VC to this year's TAROSA Cultural day which comes up on 11th April, 2026. Finally was his appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for generously according the delegation his time and audience as he prayed for a most successful tenure in building the institution into a top tier University.
The visit was concluded by group photographs and cultural dance with the Vice Chancellor.
