TASU Prepares for NUC Accreditation

The Vice-Chancellor of the Taraba State University, Jalingo,(TSUJ) Prof. Sunday Paul Bako and DVC Academics Prof. Isa Mohammed Adamu, toured around the University to inspect ongoing projects.

The VC carryout the visit in the company of some top management staff of the University. This in the University's preparedness to receive National Universities Commission (NUC) for the accreditation of courses for the University.

The Vice-Chancellor who has about 20 years experience of NUC accreditation is leaving no stone unturned to at the moment. 

Recall that, some of the accredited courses were since due for NUC revisiting and some only had interim while others were just resource verified by the NUC. Few among the many facilities inspected are: Radio, Television and PR/Advertising Studios, Faculty of Engineering, Arabic, Christian Religious Studies, Faculty of Education among others.

This is done in an attempt to ensure that all requirements for the accreditation of these programmes are met.

The Professor reiterated his commitment to repositioning the University and give it the required standard needed.
