The delegation was led by Yinka Williams and included Abimbola Ogunbiyi and Oriyomi Emmanuel. The visit focused on evaluating and engaging with the architectural vision for the landmark project, which is being developed in honour of Oluseyi Afolabi.
The proposed Faculty of Engineering Complex is positioned as a flagship infrastructure project designed to strengthen hands-on engineering education, innovation capacity, and global competitiveness within the university.
The Vice-Chancellor, Francisca Oladipo, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation-driven growth, describing the university as a rapidly advancing centre of learning with strong community relevance and global ambition.
She emphasized that the project aligns with TAU’s broader strategy of developing industry-ready graduates through modern infrastructure and experiential learning environments.
