TAU Holds Campus-Wide Sensitization Programme on Sanitation and Environmental Responsibility!
Thomas Adewumi University has once again demonstrated its leadership in environmental sustainability, health consciousness, and student-centered learning through a comprehensive sanitation sensitization programme held across its East and West Campuses.
Organized by the University’s Committee on Sanitation, the programme brought together students, staff, and key stakeholders to launch a zero-tolerance policy for dirt and reinforce the culture of collective responsibility for a clean and safe learning environment.
Highlights included expert-led sessions by:
▪ Sanitarian Olawuyi Oyelola Peter, Chief Environmental Health Officer, Irepodun LGA, who spoke on "The Benefits of Keeping the Environment Clean"
▪ Mr. Stephen David Adesoye, who addressed "Environmental Health and Hygiene"
From understanding waste bin color coding systems to exploring the roles of institutional hygiene, attendees were educated, inspired, and empowered to become ambassadors of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
At TAU, sanitation isn’t just a campaign — it’s a commitment.
Together, we’re building a healthier campus and a more sustainable future.
