Tinubu Celebrates Nigerian Ijeoma Uchegbu on Becoming 7th College President in Cambridge University

Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian-born Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience, Ijeoma Uchegbu, on her election as President of Wolfson College, one of the 31 colleges of the University of Cambridge.

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian-born Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience and researcher known for her innovative work on nanoparticle drug delivery, Ijeoma Uchegbu, on her election as President of Wolfson College, one of the 31 colleges of the University of Cambridge.

Professor Uchegbu who hails from the South-East Nigeria and Hackney is also presently a Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience at the University College, London (UCL).

President Tinubu, in a release issued on Sunday by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, celebrated the outstanding accomplishment and commends Uchegbu for being an excellent ambassador for the country and for her relentless efforts to advance the frontiers of pharmaceutical science.

President Tinubu applauded Uchegbu as epitomizing the ingenuity, brilliance and hard work that are consistently synonymous with the great Nigerian people both at home and abroad, and also wished her more success as she takes on this important role.

The president also assured Nigerians in the Diaspora that his administration remains committed to building a robust interface mechanism that harnesses ideas, promotes investment opportunities and strengthens bonds, in line with his ‘4D Foreign Policy’.
