Total Nucleus Foundation Trains 50 Youths in CBT Exam Techniques in Lagos

The Total Nucleus Foundation recently graduated 50 youths in Lagos after a nine-week training program focused on Computer Based Test (CBT) proficiency and general computer appreciation. Senator Olugbenga Ashafa, representing the foundation, highlighted the importance of technology in addressing Nigeria's socio-economic issues and urged graduates to use their skills for community benefit.

In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing technological skills among the youth, the Total Nucleus Foundation has successfully trained 50 youths in Computer Based Test (CBT) proficiency and general computer appreciation. The graduation ceremony, attended by notable figures, including Senator Olugbenga Ashafa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, underscored the importance of technology in addressing Nigeria's socio-economic challenges.

During the event, Senator Ashafa, represented by the Foundation’s Director-General, Kayode Eleshin, urged the graduates to utilize their newfound skills to benefit themselves and the wider community. He emphasized that, in today’s technology-driven world, it is crucial for young people to acquire computer skills to compete effectively in CBT-based examinations and on a global scale.

Mayoress Abolanle Bada, Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, commended the graduates for their dedication during the nine-week training program, describing the initiative as timely and aligned with the THEMES Plus agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration. This agenda focuses on Transportation, Health, Education, Making Lagos a 21st-Century Economy, and Security and Governance.

Lukman Owolabi, President of the Total Nucleus Foundation, stated that the foundation aims to bridge the gap between the government and the governed, enhancing the quality of life for the poor and vulnerable. He noted that the training was particularly relevant following the West African Examination Council's (WAEC) decision to transition its examinations to a computer-based format.

Owolabi revealed that participants were selected from across Lagos’s three senatorial districts and urged the graduates to apply their skills responsibly, steering clear of cybercrimes.
