Tragic Incident Near Benue State University Main Gate Leaves Students Stranded

This morning, a distressing event occurred near the main gate of Benue State University, Makurdi, involving six final-year students who were crossing the road to catch a bus to High Level Roundabout. According to eyewitnesses, a white bus approached at high speed despite the students’ attempts to signal and shout for the driver to stop.

The bus, unable to slow down in time, sped past the students, who were fortunately not injured. The incident left the students stranded at the side of the road, waiting for another bus to continue their journey.
