In a somber turn of events, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) mourns the tragic loss of a promising U18 student, Usman Khamisu Hussain, whose life was cut short in a heart-wrenching accident. Known affectionately as "Sir Ussy" among friends and classmates, the ABU community is left in shock and sorrow.

The incident, which occurred yesterday, has left a void in the hearts of many. Usman Khamisu Hussain, a diligent Botany student, was not just a classmate but a beloved brother and friend to those who knew him. His untimely passing has plunged the campus into a state of mourning.

"Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihirraji'un" – the traditional Islamic prayer uttered upon news of a loss – now echoes throughout the ABU community as they remember and pray for their departed friend. Usman Khamisu Hussain's memory will forever be etched in their hearts.

As condolences pour in from every corner of the campus, prayers and thoughts are extended to his grieving family. The ABU community unites in prayer, asking Allah to grant Usman Khamisu Hussain mercy, elevate his status in the hereafter, and provide strength and solace to his loved ones.
