Trinity University Holds Maiden Convocation Ceremony
Since its establishment in 2018 and subsequent accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Trinity University has matriculated five sets of students and is now set to graduate two sets during the forthcoming convocation ceremonies.
Trinity University, located in Yaba, Lagos State, has announced its inaugural convocation ceremonies scheduled to take place from Wednesday, February 21 to Friday, February 23, 2024, on the university campus. The theme for the convocation is ‘Convoking a Galaxy of Trinity Stars’.

The convocation events will commence on Wednesday, February 21, with a press conference at 11:00 am, followed by student activities at 4:00 pm. The highlight of the convocation, the Convocation Lecture titled ‘Disruptive Technology: The Ambiguous Friend!’, will be held on Thursday, February 22, at 11:00 am. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Adenike Osofisan, the first African woman Professor of Computer Science, and chaired by Deacon Adebowale Tade, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Trinity University. A Thanksgiving service will follow at 4:00 pm on the same day.
The main convocation event will take place on Friday, February 23, and will feature the investiture of the Chancellor, presentation of prizes, and awards of honorary and first degrees.
