Key Admission Requirements Across Various Programs:
- Biochemistry: Applicants must possess two A-level subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, or Botany, alongside meeting the UME requirement. Additionally, candidates must obtain credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the O’ Level.
- Dentistry: The requirements align with those of Medicine & Surgery, necessitating credit passes in the core science subjects at the O’ Level.
- Human Nutrition: Two A-level passes in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics are mandatory. Candidates holding professional certificates such as Nigeria Registered Nurse, OND in Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science or Agriculture, NCE in Home Economics, or Certificate in Community Nutrition Technician will receive preference, contingent upon fulfilling the O’ Level criteria stipulated by the university.
- Medicine & Surgery: Three A-level passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Zoology are essential, alongside possessing a B.Sc in relevant fields. The University of Ibadan mandates five credit passes at one sitting in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for all courses within the College of Medicine.
