UNIABUJA Don Dr. Muftau Mohammed Secures Prestigious Global Brain Health Institute Fellowship in Ireland

A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, College of Health Sciences, University of Abuja, and Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Muftau Mohammed, has been selected for the 2026/2027 cohort of the prestigious Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI), Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.  

The fellowship, which attracts multidisciplinary leaders and professionals from across the globe, supports leadership, research, and collaboration in brain health and dementia prevention equity.

Mohammed was selected by the Governing Board of the fellowship programme following a highly competitive international selection process.
